The babysit and compliment

I am babysitting the D's and we have 6 kids, 4 dogs and a whole lot of fun.  I took the brood to Ikea today to get a high chair and cheap Ikea toys.

We also decided to eat lunch while we were there. Now, mind you, I have now been watching them for 5 days and they are wonderful children.  We headed to the cafe and Mr. A stayed with all the littles while I bought lunch.  We shared lunches, laughed, cheered, and stuffed ourselves after walking around for 2 hours.

While we were sitting there, I saw a woman, her daughter (maybe) and a baby.  They were watching us and I was hoping we weren't being to crazy, but the kids were being wonderful so I was not worrying too much.  The older woman finally smiled and told me that she apologized for staring but she was watching and amazed what a good mom I was interacting with all the kids and loving it.  Doing all the coordination and logistics while snuggling and cuddling - but it didn't really feel like anything except just taking care of the kids and just having fun.

It was a really wonderful reminder that I am okay.  I can do my best and it is probably enough.
